Some evidentiary questions require research beyond the examination of existing material. RHEM Labs undertakes independent research, with scope agreed around the problem, available information and intended use of the findings.
This work also informs the laboratory’s broader research and development program. The distinction between research findings, validation and operational readiness is made explicit.
